On-Campus Hiring for Freshers
SRE is a non-coding based job role.
- OT (200 students): This 60-question, 60-minute test covered core CS fundamental topics such as Networking, Linux, OS, and Cloud Computing.
- Technical Round 1 (35 students): This interview, lasting about an hour, covered basics of Networking, Linux, OS, and company culture.
- Technical Round 2: This interview involved explaining Layers 2-4 related Networking concepts in detail, Linux concepts in detail, basic Virtualization, and OS. It briefly delved into Hyperconverged Infrastructure, the technology Nutanix works on, and took about 90 minutes.
- Tech Manager Round (< 15 students): This less technical round focused on knowing about the candidates and confirming they are a culture fit. It took about 20-30 minutes.

Pros: It is one of the best workplaces.
A lot to learn technically, it's the best place to grow, like the MAANG companies.
Cross-functional teams.
You have the liberty to choose your area of interest in technology, be it Database, Development, Coding, Kubernetes, Private and Public Cloud.
A competitive environment.
Cons: A competitive environment is good. However, for some reasons, when there is a target-oriented program, colleagues tend to forget they worked together and start competing. Sometimes it takes a different route and creates friction and awkwardness in the long run, which makes the core values hazy.
