Overall, the interview process was very organized and great. However, the third-party contracted interview coordinators (not sure what they're called) are very inconsistent. For example, they scheduled my interviews with less than 24 hours' notice, rather than providing the standard notice.
Knowledge of basic Linux commands, networking principles and concepts, along with storage and virtualization, is important during the interview process.
Questions
What happens if a server goes down and it is the only server for 11 virtual machines? (Not a trick question)
What is the difference between DHCP and DNS?
What is TCP/IP?
What is the difference between UDP and TCP?
What are VLANs necessary for?
