For interns, the company generally conducts 2-5 phone interviews based on the candidate's skills.
I had three phone interviews, each a week apart.
In my first interview, the interviewer asked more bring-up related questions. As I did not have any experience with bring-up, he asked me more programming questions. I believe he might have recommended me for another interview.
