Process
I applied for the internship through a school listing at my college. I had two interviews, both technical, over the phone. The questions ranged from networking concepts to Java-specific topics. Each interview required coding, demonstrating ability, and the use and understanding of various data structures.

Good for beginners, it stagnates pretty quickly
Systems Software Engineer • Former Employee
Pune, Maharashtra, India

Pros: Awesome place for your first job if you are inclined to stay in the hardware device drivers domain.
You can interact with top employees of NVidia across the world, learning tons from them in the process.
Top-notch codebase, and the code review process is very rigorous, thus helping you hone your skills.
Cons: - Pretty easy to get stagnated in the same role after about 2 years.
- Managers in Pune are not tech-savvy in general and would go with the prevailing opinion of their superiors instead of basing decisions on technical details.
- To get any meaningful work done, you would have to work in the same time zone as the HW/SW engineers in Santa Clara, but would still be expected to be seen in office during daytime.
