I had an initial call with a recruiter, who immediately scheduled me for a phone screen. During my phone screen, I was asked a pretty simple coding question, and I found a solution for it in about 20 minutes. With some help from my interviewer, I optimized it even further with about 15-20 minutes to spare.
I got a rejection a few days later. As others have said, their standards seem arbitrary; getting the answer right doesn't necessarily mean you'll move to the next round.
