Principal Software Engineer Interview Experience - Seattle, Washington

Process

Phone conversations were organized, and everyone called on time.

The in-person interview was okay. The room was comfortable, lunch was provided, and so on. They mentioned, "We need people like you."

However, there was no follow-up at all, not even a "thank you for your time." Usually, people treat you with a little more respect.

They asked algorithm and "Computer Science" questions extensively. These were far from reality. I did not prepare for these intentionally since they are not necessary to memorize. I have a BS/MS degree and 5 years of experience.

One of the interviewers was quite rude, stating, "If you don't want to wake up during the night, you should make your service better." While true, this might be more applicable if interviewing for a CEO role.

Overall, my impression after the in-person interview was neutral, leaning towards negative. I would not consider working here.
