I am very disappointed with the recent interview I had. Finally, after what felt like four months, I finished the Oracle interviews. I thought the interviews went very well. The interviews were not difficult, but eventually, they rejected me with no feedback.
They kept pushing things to the next weeks and months. They forgot to send me preparation emails until very late. Interviewers didn't show up as scheduled, and some of them had not prepared anything to ask. For example, the Product Manager was supposed to ask coding questions, but they said they couldn't because they hadn't coded in a long time.
The format of two interviews was not as expected or explained in the emails, but still, I believe I did quite well. They asked me about my previous projects, and I explained them with many details. They asked some networking/cloud questions that I answered. I answered all other questions with sufficient detail.
I put a lot of time and energy into preparing for their interview, and the result came as a surprise. They stated that, based on company policy, they cannot provide any sort of feedback, which is not fair at all after such a long process.
Every random question, from programming languages to previous experiences, mostly behavioral questions about why I left previous jobs or else.
