I interviewed for a Senior Software Engineer position in OCI Virtual Machine Infrastructure / Control Plane.
Round 1: Screening by hiring manager to understand my background and assess if the position was a good fit.
Round 2: Given two sorted lists (not necessarily linked lists), I was asked to return the merged sorted list. This included defining a main method and test cases. As the data structure was not specified, I could choose from linked lists, arrays, priority queues, etc., and I needed to justify my choice.
After these two interview rounds, I was informed that other candidates were being considered. I was not given a reason for rejection.
