It started on a good note but ended very badly. I seriously did not expect this from Oracle.
Do ask for salary/CTC before even taking interviews with Oracle.
To start, I received a call directly from HR. I was interviewed for a team working on an Oracle Cloud product. I found the interview to be of an average level, but there were five technical rounds. I liked the questions they asked and their very friendly behavior.
After this, they offered me a salary, and we had 2-3 discussions around it. I did not accept that CTC, so I proposed a higher number, which they initially accepted. However, they then asked me to go through two more technical rounds, ultimately conducting three additional rounds. The hiring manager informed me that I had cleared all rounds (8 in total) and that HR would discuss the salary.
The next day, I received a call and was surprised to hear they offered me the same number I had rejected earlier. They finally dropped the discussion. It was quite humiliating and irritating.

Design a search system for a retail distributor, similar to how Amazon's product search works.
Must discuss salary beforehand, or you are wasting your time. They don't give hikes for years, and if not ready to pay in the beginning, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
If money is not a concern, you can give a try to live with no salary.
