I sat for campus placement at Oracle. The first round was an online aptitude test.
The questions consisted of quantitative, verbal, and logical aptitude. The logical section included flowcharts with blank boxes, requiring comprehension of steps based on a given paragraph. Technical aptitude questions, mainly from trees, and some C input/output questions were also asked. Each section had its own individual timing.
Quant was of moderate level. Technical questions on trees were lengthy and time-consuming to comprehend. Results of this test were declared the same day. The company then visited the campus one day later.
The next rounds were two technical and two HR rounds.
In the technical interviews, the interviewer was seeking a good and innovative approach to problems. Generic solutions did not impress them. Some puzzles, basic data structures, OOPs concepts, and OS-related questions were also asked. Those who cleared this round proceeded to the second round, where optimized solutions for problems like the longest palindromic substring were requested.
The last round was an HR round, which is the easiest among all. Basic questions about you, your goals, and why you want to work with us were asked.
