- 4.0Overall GCS experienceSoftware Engineer • Former EmployeeRedwood City, California, United StatesApril 11, 2017Pros: 1. Fixed work. 2. Good work-life balance.Cons: 1. Less scope to learn
- 3.0No Career Growth, WLB is goodSoftware Engineer • Current EmployeeRedwood City, California, United StatesSeptember 20, 2023Pros: WLB is great. If you are in the right team, the people are pretty nice. The compensation is competitive.Cons: You won't learn anything here. The longer you stay here, the more you will rot. Also, there is a lot of company politics which I am not a big fan of.
- 1.0A very old company for old people. Not enough innovationsSoftware Engineer • Former EmployeeRedwood City, California, United StatesJuly 20, 2013Pros: Very flexible work hours. Ideal for married people who have family obligations. Very little workload. Friendly coworkers.Cons: An aging company that lacks innovation. Big corporate inefficiency is also noticeable, as I couldn't start working during the first week because the company laptop hadn't arrived yet. Work may not seem interesting enough for young people. The products are too old.
