Fairly stable, simple 9-5 job. Easy to get by if you don't want to push yourself. Good life-work balance, as there's no incentive to work more than 40 hours a week. This can depend on your management and where you work.
Tech and career dead-end type jobs. Good if you just want to ride out your career. Terrible, outdated tech stacks and very little room for innovation and creativity in your daily job.
It's not going to change as long as Larry Ellison is in charge (and is keeping him a billionaire). Oracle is a consulting/sales company in the guise of a tech company; they acquire innovation rather than make it.
