Good collaboration tools, good infrastructure, ample travel budget, and lots of challenging problems. Very flexible work hours and, depending on your manager, flexible work locations.
Inconsistent management, inconsistent strategies. The direction is predominantly tactical, not often focused on maintaining investment in projects with long-term payoffs. The company tolerates incompetence far too liberally.
