I was acquired through an acquisition. No process was involved.

The company was acquired, and the transition was extremely smooth. This was aside from a large turnover of original employees, and the upper management of the old company was overhauled. However, that was to be expected.

A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn. I had a brief conversation with the recruiter. The first round was a phone screen with an engineer. From my perspective, it went well. However, there has been no communication after that phone screen.
