Oracle is an uneventful place to work
There is an onsite gym that employees may use whenever. It is great for taking breaks from an uneventful day. The hours are really flexible, depending on the group.
There is not much group dynamic to the Enterprise Manager team. Release Management makes a lot of demands that nobody can actually back up in time. This results in an extended showstopper mode where everything gets scrutinized for months.
I find that I spend the majority of my time working on stabilization rather than looking for inventive new solutions.
Make more opportunities for employees. There is a very restrictive hierarchical structure that prevents many people from rising up and growing their careers.
