Pros

Large company with a lot of room for movement between groups. Solid dominance in the market, resulting in relatively secure employment during tough times. Plenty of flexibility in work schedule, including part- and full-time telecommuting (depending on your group).

Cons

Bureaucracy, unnecessary shortage of testing resources sometimes, resulting in wasted work hours when the right hardware would have saved so much time. Promotions do not necessarily result in raises.

Advice to Management

Hardware's cheap, virtual machines aren't always the best test environment, and employee efficiency is sometimes more important than hardware efficiency.
