I applied through a recruiter.
Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and we scheduled a brief call discussing my background and the company. After that was a 45-min technical. I got asked a standard leetcode medium. Heard back quickly, and moved onto the onsite, which was composed of 3 45-min interviews.
This was split into 2 parts, the first was virtual and the second was in-person at their mountain view office. The virtual part was a behavioral interview with an engineering VP. Pretty straightforward questions, such as:
The first onsite interview was with an engineering manager. She asked me to draw the architecture of one of my projects on a whiteboard from memory and asked me a few questions about it. After that, she asked me a pretty common leetcode question.
The 2nd onsite interview was with an engineer, who gave me a 2 part non-leetcode question. The problem had a pretty long setup and a lot of parameters, so it was more about keeping track of all the details and being able to communicate your solution clearly.
Got the offer 3 business days later. Overall, everyone at the company seemed very competent and talented. A bit surprised I passed.
I got asked merge intervals
