Contacted by search consultant/headhunter. A couple of phone interview rounds with the search consultant. Videoconf rounds with a manager (who seems to have left already?) and an HR person.
Two tech rounds: one with the Android lead (discussion) and one with a sample codebase. I didn't get a good impression of either tech round. They focused on minute details of specific tech topics that might be used by Oura, yes, but overall, it was far from anything that would correlate with actual developer get-things-done/learning capability.
It took quite a long time to eventually get to an offer. Slowness like that is typical of larger corporations; I would have expected a smaller tech company to be quicker in its processes. Granted, there were Christmas breaks and similar events.
The position I was hired in is below my current job level, but I decided not to care. A change of industry with learning capabilities and competitive compensation were enough to accept the offer.
