Worst recruiting process ever.

I applied through on-campus recruiting. A recruiter contacted me, and I completed the phone screen. The recruiter did not respond until a week after the interview, and only after I emailed him.

The recruiter stated the interview went well and wanted to bring me onsite. However, due to competing offer deadlines and Palantir's aggressive interview scheduling, they could not schedule an onsite interview before my deadlines. Therefore, the recruiter suggested conducting three Skype interviews in place of the three onsite interviews I would have had in New York.

Instead of scheduling all three interviews back-to-back or even on consecutive days, the recruiter scheduled only one. He then decided to schedule the remaining interviews after observing how the first one proceeded. Furthermore, they scheduled the interview for the day that was my last choice.

On the day of my scheduled interview, Palantir's coordinator emailed me, stating the interviewer could not make it and the interview had to be rescheduled. They rescheduled the first Skype interview for two weeks later. I had pushed my offer deadlines to accommodate Palantir's busy schedule, yet they showed little to no respect for my deadlines.

When I emailed them, asking if an onsite interview would be possible to save time, given that I had already extended my deadlines, the recruiter called me. He stated he wanted to cancel my scheduled interview (again, on the day of the interview) because Palantir had apparently attempted to be accommodating, and I was being pushy.

This has been the worst interview process I have ever experienced. I had initially heard many negative comments about Palantir's interview process but never thought I would experience it myself.

One of the questions I had was a coding question. It was related to real-world problems they had, which was kind of cool.
