Process

Had a Karat interview. The interview started with 10 minutes of algorithm-specific/code-reading, then progressed to as many LeetCode-style problems as I could answer. I received two attempts.

The first attempt went very poorly. Half of it was me being rusty, but the interviewer also didn't provide guidance when it was clear I was missing a core understanding of the problem.

The second attempt was much better, and I got through 2.5 questions before running out of time. The time constraint was very tight, and they specified they care more about complete solutions rather than optimal ones.
