I completed the coding challenge and passed. I then set up a phone call with the recruiter, which was probably the strangest HR call I have ever had.
The recruiter was basically grilling me on what Palantir does and asked "why this and why that." This made me feel super uncomfortable. I think they try to catch you off guard by saying the HR call will be a quick chat about your interests when it's actually something completely different.
I should have read Glassdoor and prepared more for it. I shouldn't have taken the "call" at face value. I'm really disappointed that I was not prepared, but I would have liked the chance to be informed that there was something to prepare for.
I doubt that I will move on to the next round after that experience.
