Product Quality Engineer Interview Experience

Process

The interview process involved:

  • One HR interview.
  • Two technical screening phone interviews.
  • An onsite interview.

The first phone interview focused on testing-based questions, such as how to test a browser installation process.

The second phone interview required implementing an algorithm to return a boolean indicating if there are duplicate characters in an array, along with an analysis of its performance.

I am still not sure why I did not get the position.

Anyways, explain your code better, as the interviewer might not be sharing their screen to see what you have written.

Questions

An algorithm to return true or false, based on the repetition of characters in an array.
