My interviewer proceeded to try to optimize my code in the middle of me solving the problem.
I have no idea why an interviewer would not just let a candidate work and instead force minor modifications in the middle. This was easily the worst interviewer I've ever had.

Pros: You get to work with smart people, office perks, meaningful work improving social welfare, and stopping bad guys.
Cons: There is a lack of diversity and inclusion. Working to help people is more for the brand image, to counter the stigma of working with the DoD. I've seen people caught up in bad situations who did nothing wrong get let go, no questions asked.
