I had two interviews for the Senior Frontend Developer role:
On the downside: The screening process felt a bit more strict and picky compared to other companies in the market, especially due to the high bar the industry sets for interviewing candidates.
On the upside: A very educating experience, both personally and professionally.
I learned a lot from mistakes I made. One of the interviewers was extremely thoughtful and kind, remarking that they might ask "annoying" questions, but it was nothing personal and it's okay to not know everything. They added that the assessment would not fully depend on answering questions correctly but also on the overall thinking process and personal vibe.
Vanilla JS:
Q: setInterval is updating a page color after a user inputs a large number (defined as BigInt). What could be the reason the system gets stuck as the number the user enters increases?
StackBlitz Live Coding - Angular (19+): A list of products is being rendered in the DOM after an HTTP request is sent to an endpoint and returns an array.
Q1: Which DOM states are you familiar with?
Q2: How would you refactor the code for both the DOM and the component, in such a way it will align with the new Angular reactive features (Signals, etc.)?
