HR contacted candidates even though they didn't come from a testing background. The hiring manager called, and it wasn't a tough interview. I was expecting an onsite interview, which followed. It was not a difficult interview. Questions focused on your background and some very basic programming evaluations, like palindrome. I wasn’t satisfied with the feedback.
