Pros: Paycom offers really good health insurance and hires some great people. Team leaders and supervisors are doing the best they can, but often they are kept in the dark, like everyone else.

Cons: You will be lied to and taken advantage of. The technology departments were told over and over again that they would be able to continue working mostly remotely, but the company went back on that with no explanation, giving many employees only a month before they have to return to the office full time. Many people made major life decisions based on working remotely, and this was removed with no warning and no adjustment to compensation. Executive management sets wildly unrealistic deadlines often and offers "just get it done" as advice when asked about the deadline. Employees are expected to put in extra hours to get things done but are rarely offered flexibility in return, even though they are salary employees. Paycom is great about adding policies and perks that look great on paper, but there is very little actual support of these policies from most of management.

Pros: All the pros of working here were thrown out the window in 2022 when WFH was yanked from employees with less than a month's notice.

Cons: After WFH was taken away, they started firing sprees and haven’t stopped. They’ve removed some employee benefits, won’t even let employees WFH with forecasted snow, have removed Flex Time policies, and force employees to sign NDAs and “contracts” to not pursue legal action. I left in early 2023 but feared leaving a review for a long time because they’re a very spiteful and retaliatory company (despite these being anonymous—I’m paranoid). Chad is a terrible CEO, and something is seriously wrong with him and the leadership enabling him. It’s clear something bad is going on there, like they’re getting ready to sell the company or something.

Pros: Energetic atmosphere, results-oriented, metrics-driven.

Cons: Too many t-shirts, keychains, and free lunches to appeal to young employees.
