It was a good life until December 13, 2022, at 10:45 AM. It was a good job that was going well in my personal life. The pay was OK, the benefits were good, and the hours were great, as promised. My life was happy. I know no one's life is perfect, but it can be happy. I liked Paycom and everyone there. I still do, because I don't know how to hate people.
Then the darkness came to my life with a Technology Team Meeting from the CIO, with minimum notice to return to the office five days a week in a month or less. This was just because our CIO, Brad, met someone on the hallway or skywalk who lacked communication on important project updates to upper management. Because of that person, whom he spoke to that day, many employees' lives changed.
I spent almost four grand on computer equipment and upgraded the internet connection with a contract. My wife and I had planned our baby's birth and made so many decisions in our personal life that are affecting our relationship now.
Paycom doesn't care how much my life has been messed up, or maybe they don't know. I wish they would show some kindness towards employees and their personal lives.
Who cares in Paycom? The CIO, CEO, and upper management are millionaires and billionaires. They make a lot of money with employees, which is happening everywhere. I understand that, but affecting someone's personal life who looks up to you to show some mercy will be really bad for a company.
Even as a man, I am in tears when I type this review. They pretty much destroyed my personal life.
With one car and my wife working around my schedule, we had so much happiness in our life, which is all gone. I wish they would show some humanity about some employees' personal lives. Normal employees like me get hurt so much.
My wife has pretty much shut off from me, and I don't know what to say. I hope they give us an option to WFH and one day in the office as a voluntary schedule.
Well, not all dreams come true.
Hopefully, someone from Paycom upper management sees this and understands how this affects some employees' personal lives.
I can't say I don't like Paycom. It's just personal that the decision they made causes lots of issues in my life. I wish I had never existed in this world.
Please understand that the decisions you make affect some employees' personal lives more than you can imagine. Have some compassion and kindness towards your employees. Life is short; it's not all about money for everyone. Sometimes, others' relationships can be shattered because of decisions you change. When an employee gives the best he can, please don't destroy their life. They look up to you. You just destroyed someone's life. I request you please reverse the decision to have some of us WFH and one day in the office. Just a request to Chad and Brad. I know you all have families too. I'm a beginner in family life. Hopefully, you all see this and help. Thank you.
It's lengthy but pretty basic. You do a test on the computer to find all the errors. Basically, we want to see if you're a good problem solver and how you work in an agile environment.

I met with the recruiters at my college's career fair. After I applied, I was given a multiple-choice assessment that covered basic programming topics. Then, I was called back for a technical interview.
