One HackerEarth test followed by two technical virtual/F2F interviews.
The difficulty level of both interviews was normal. If you practice LeetCode Easy/Medium problems, you will pass with ease.
The interviewer in the first round was polite and well-behaved.
The interviewer in the second round was the complete opposite of the first. They were ill-mannered, short-tempered, and in a bad mood from the start. Their approach seemed to be about demonstrating ego rather than assessing candidate fit for the role. After this interview, I felt as though I had interviewed for a Tier 3 company.
After this, I received a call for a third round of interviews, which I declined. I do not wish to move into a team where this type of culture is prominent. While a company is evaluating candidates, candidates are also evaluating their future employer, and this is not the work culture I want to join. If a company cannot treat a potential candidate with respect, I doubt they will treat an employee with any more respect.
I never expected this from PayPal.
LeetCode Easy/Medium is enough.
