Pros: It really differs from team to team, but a lot of groups have an excellent work-life balance. Also, the benefits are good. The gym is fantastic and free. There are free bagels on Wednesdays, free coffee and milk, and snacks.

Cons: Again, the experience differs from team to team. A lot of groups don't have a good work-life balance. On my first team, we had to show up to the office every day and stay until 6:00 or later. A lot of teams also don't care about code quality or follow good process. I've seen a fair amount of code that was extremely poorly written and a number of questionable design decisions. It just seems like most employees just come in for the paycheck. Very few people actually care about coding or computers.

Pros: Good work-life balance, good benefits, and good company culture.

Cons: Boring work. The company is very mature, and unless you’re working on crypto, I think it’s boring.

Pros: Work-life balance, range of technologies to work on.

Cons: Non-transparent promotion criteria, confused leadership and constant leadership changes, compromise on quality in a rush to float newer products.
