It really differs from team to team, but a lot of groups have an excellent work-life balance.
Also, the benefits are good. The gym is fantastic and free. There are free bagels on Wednesdays, free coffee and milk, and snacks.
Again, the experience differs from team to team. A lot of groups don't have a good work-life balance. On my first team, we had to show up to the office every day and stay until 6:00 or later.
