I applied online. The process took 2 weeks.
First call with Tech Recruiter, classic screening. Then two technical interviews, one system design interview and then a cultural fit with teams. I received the wrong preparation email (got the preparation for the tech interview that comes after the one I had).
The first tech interview was a small technical conversation followed by a quick look at the gilded rose exercise and some refactoring. No tests writing were involved.
Got a very generic email to tell me I did not pass. When I asked for pointers to what I could improve, I was ghosted.
What would you say if a junior submitted this code in a PR?
