I was sent a coding challenge to complete. Instead of HackerRank, they used Lytmus, which I found incredibly annoying to work with.

In fact, Lytmus completely deleted the file containing my code for a problem and replaced it with the wrong one. The recruiter then directed me to Lytmus support, which has not responded to me.

A few days later, after no attempt to fix or even address the issue, I received a generic rejection email from the recruiter.

The nature of the problems was unique, but I'd rather be tested on designing an algorithm than spending my time figuring out how to do things such as:

• Image processing
• SQL
• Pinterest API

None of it was that hard; it was mostly just frustrating.
