This was the worst interview experience possible.
First, I received an email from the recruiter, likely automated, stating that I would receive a coding challenge using Lytmus.
After two days, I finally received an email with the link to the challenge. I started the challenge, and everything went smoothly, taking approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete.
I emailed the recruiter for a follow-up, and they informed me that I had received an incorrect link and would have to retake the challenge.
Why? How hard is it to ensure you send a correct link or to accept my submission? I am not your unpaid slave who has three hours every day, balancing work and school, to do projects for a chance at working at your company.
I decided not to finish the other challenge, as my time is more valuable than that, and I do not want to work at a place that treats interested candidates this way.
Not to mention, their new challenge asks visual recognition and API usage questions/challenges, all to be completed in under two hours for the chance at an internship.
