I got the opportunity via LinkedIn. I was referred by one of the connected members.

1. The HR called and tried to understand my skills and explained their process: the first round was exploratory by the hiring manager and served as an elimination round. The next three rounds would be technical – covering code, design, and projects.
2. During the exploratory round, the interviewer tried to understand my projects and picked a few designs, asking why certain technology choices were made. Since it was a management role, there were questions based on situations related to handling a team.

The HR called back to inform me that my skills did not match the role's requirements. Overall, the HR was courteous and quick with responses.
