Pros: Salary and benefits are very good.
Cons: "Leadership" comes up with a new direction every month, and the rest of the company exists solely to fulfil their latest pivot.
There is no notion of independence or desire for initiative, and the company is strictly top down and you are a worker drone.
Every 6 months a lottery is drawn for which teams to layoff.
For developers specifically, the codebase is what you would expect from unchecked growth attempts and top down leadership that doesn't have time for your "tech debt".

Pros: Good place to work if you like solving technical problems. The team culture is collaborative and people are generally willing to help when you need it. You get reasonable autonomy on projects and can make an impact if you take initiative. There are opportunities to grow your skills and work on interesting challenges.
Cons: Like most companies, there's technical debt that doesn't always get prioritized. Sometimes decisions feel rushed and you have to deal with inconsistencies between different parts of the system.
