I applied for the Software Engineer - Backend position via LinkedIn.
They conduct telephonic interviews. I went through three telephonic rounds.
Round 1: They asked about my work at my current organization. Round 2: They asked about my work at my current organization. Round 3: They asked about my work at my current organization.
The interview process was very different. The interviewers seemed unaware of the specific position and team for which the interviews were being conducted. I received a rejection email after two telephonic rounds. I requested feedback, and they contacted me back, informing me that I had a third telephonic round.
The third round was vague; it felt as though it was primarily to complete the process. We eventually discussed topics like Automata and context-free grammars. After this third round, I received the same rejection email.
The entire process felt very unfair. There were no significant tasks or difficult questions throughout the process; it was more of a discussion. However, I did not understand the purpose of these interviews, especially since the same questions were asked in all rounds.
All about your current work. Nothing else.
