They found me on HackerRank, the jobs site where candidates do coding exercises before profiles get approved.
The recruiter was very nice, but asked me to apply to a "systems" type job that I was clearly not qualified for as a web developer. I told the recruiter that I would be more suited for a full-stack position, which I was allowed to move forward with.
It seems like instead of reading my resume, they just made me take another quiz on HackerRank that tested skills in languages I never claimed to be good at.
Very tricky questions, with questionable relevance to the position, and an absurdly short time limit.
