Great company for growth, learning, and being innovative in the wireless domain.
Other than folks working in the chipset unit and the technology licensing unit, the service business unit really lacks a coordinated executive strategy.
To gain control of the service business, it would be better to get someone with relevant experience from the industry and outside of Qualcomm. It would be effective if the service business is seriously taken as a corporate strategy, with all departments behind this common goal, and not just focused on chip sales and patents.
