Work-life balance is pretty bad in PD; be prepared to work on Saturdays and Sundays.
There's a lot of partiality on the basis of ethnicity (if you are South Indian, you are very lucky) and office politics.
Poor management and planning from leads cause a lot of unnecessary load.
Career growth is limited as the focus is more on deliverables; you will be stuck in one domain. For example, if you are in PD, you will not be given work on STA, and vice versa.
There are a lot of problems when asking for leave.
