Pros

Employees work on a wide range of cutting-edge technologies and are able to learn many exciting skills if they want to learn. Due to the explosion of the mobile industry, there are many opportunities in the company, and it has grown more than 50% over the past few years.

Cons

Long hours and lack of work-life balance.

The industry is super competitive, and companies/departments need to work very hard to develop new technologies and maintain existing ones. Late nights and weekend work are quite common in most departments.

Salaries are not competitive compared to other large companies in the industry, so many good people left to join companies like Apple, Amazon, etc.

There are still many deadwood in the firm who don't seem to contribute much to the company's bottom line, except by creating more meetings for people around them.

Advice to Management

Cut off more dead wood and provide better compensation to keep people motivated and recruit/retain good people.
