Needs to increase the level of focus on what customers want, be committed to delivering to their customers, and execute on those rather than trying to solely focus on its technological advances.
Declaring an open-door policy is one thing, but acting on it is another. Downward communication initiated by senior management would encourage upward communication. Another thing is to respect and appreciate ideas generated by lower ranks instead of one-way directives.
