Good team, environment, and learning opportunities.
Some politics involved in management.
I applied for a software engineer position at Qualcomm in August. I had a phone interview at the end of September. After two weeks, the HR emailed me an invitation for an onsite interview. At the end of October, I went to San Diego for the onsite.
A recruiter phone interview was followed by a full day in-office interview with what felt like different groups. This included a lunch interview. Towards the end, I met with HR.
The process was straightforward and exemplary. While not exceptionally special, it was a little too technical. The interview provided a good opportunity to assess where I stood with respect to my knowledge.
