Good company with a lot of smart people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. People are encouraged to be innovative; compensation is based on skill and contribution.
Even though the company makes hard decisions to lay off people during a business downturn, I think the company is nice to its employees, and they have to do what they have to do.
A company is successful because it succeeded in beating its competitors. A company goes down because it cannot beat itself. To beat itself means adapting to the changing market and adjusting priorities based on what the market dictates, not based on what people are used to.
