I went through two technical phone interviews using CollabEdit and an onsite visit that consisted of three rounds of 1:1 interviews, lunch, and a tour. I observed no diversity within the engineering teams. I thought I did well enough, but three business days after the onsite, I received a generic rejection letter. When I asked for feedback, I was told to brush up on basic algorithms and data structures. This feedback is surprising since I am familiar with them and was able to solve their problems. I am still waiting to be reimbursed for travel expenses.
