Process

The interview process started with the recruiter contacting me through LinkedIn. If you are interested, they proceed further.

  1. The recruiter will send a basic question which needs to be solved in any language (Java, JS, etc.) and submitted back. They share a Google form for the interview question.
  2. The next round is with a senior developer who asks about basic DS and algo questions.
  3. Next are Java and design questions.
  4. A manager round, which is almost a "yes" if you have cleared the previous two.

Then the recruiter will roll out an offer letter. If you are not staying in Singapore, they initiate the VISA process first, which typically takes a month to complete. They also sponsor the Dependent VISA, but be aware that they do not provide relocation assistance.

The cost of living in Singapore is high.

Questions

How do you decide between SQL and NoSQL?

We are thinking to arrange meeting rooms. Unfortunately, the walls between rooms are not perfectly soundproof, so you can hear other rooms' noise when you are using your room, making you unhappy always.

What can we do here? Based on the given rooms and users, how can we arrange them separately so people don't feel uncomfortable?

[Row, Column, number of users to assign to the room] -> unhappy point

ex. [2, 3, 6] -> 7 [4, 1, 2] -> 0 [3, 3, 8] -> 8
