During the application process, I was asked to complete a coding challenge that involved building a Capture the Flag React app.
I don't mind when companies request a coding challenge, though it should ideally occur later in the process.
However, I find it downright disrespectful not to respond to my application at all. I don't understand how, in 2023 (almost 2024), recruiters believe it's acceptable not to communicate with candidates. It is, quite literally, the bare minimum. Ramp fails to provide this basic courtesy, which gives me the impression that they have a culture of inadequate communication. Do better.
