The interview went in 3 phases:

• Phone Screen with Recruiter
• 2 Technical Interviews
• Manager Interview

A common theme across all of these is that they start with questions about your background. As soon as you mention a specific topic or technology, the interviewers start asking deeper questions about it until they can get a feel of how knowledgeable you are about it. Then, they switch to the next point, rinse, and repeat.

As others here have pointed out, be honest. When you don't know something, simply say you don't know.
