Changing for the worse

Pros: Compensation is good. Respect of the company is positive, and industry leading technology in several areas.
Cons: IBM is making changes to corporate culture. RH employees are being eliminated in favor of their IBM counterparts. I suspect this will happen to other acquisitions like Hashicorp. Customers do not like IBM sales teams as much as RH sales teams. IBM sales teams are not as familiar with RH software and technology as RH employees.

Pros: Pay transparency means you can see that they aren't paying you what they claim they should be.
Cons: Endless paperwork. Endless meetings about the paperwork. Stagnant upward mobility. Upper levels block promotions and raises without knowing anything about your team or what you do.
