Meh, it is a living. There is not much to celebrate.
Red Hat is dead; long live IBM. Everything that was good about the company's culture has been wiped clean so that a solely owned subsidiary of IBM may arise. As an added benefit, you can watch your career stall.
Gaslighting doesn't work.
I applied online on LinkedIn. I was contacted by a tech lead a few weeks later for an interview. A video call interview with someone other than the tech lead who contacted me was scheduled to last thirty minutes. It ended up lasting about forty-five
The interview process was pretty quick, only taking a week to get everything knocked out. 1st round: An hour-long interview with the hiring manager, talking about the job and tech. Mostly behavioral. 2nd round: Two hour-long interviews with members
It was on-campus with one managerial round and two technical rounds, mainly focusing on language and projects. There were two interviewers for each technical round. It was overall easy, and communication was smooth.
