Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - San Francisco, California

April 4, 2017
Positive ExperienceNo Response

Process

The interview process is fairly standard:

  • An HR call
  • A phone screen
  • An onsite interview

The onsite includes several technical rounds (coding and design), including a session with live coding on your own laptop. There is also a round with behavioral questions.

The recruiter responded promptly regarding the next steps. The interviewing team was nice and strong.

The company appears to be undergoing tremendous growth over the past year, marked by a significant increase in traffic (now the fourth most trafficked site in the US) and the launch of a new self-service ads platform.

It was quite a pleasant experience. This is a quite unique, still very small company with a low valuation. If Reddit can solve its challenging revenue problem, it will become a huge success.
